Introduction
To upload & download files from your web server, you'll need to use FTP (File Transfer Protocol). For the purposes of this post, we suggest using FileZilla to access your server; this program works on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Once you've downloaded FileZilla, it's time to connect to your server.
Step #1 - Download & Open FileZilla
Open FileZilla and open the site manager by clicking File -> Site Manager in the top left corner.
Step #2 - Connect to your Website
a) Click 'New Site' and enter the appropriate details. We will send these details via e-mail automatically upon ordering a new service.
b) Change the 'Protocol' to SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
c) The 'Host' will be your server IP address (Alternatively your website domain)
d) Leave the 'Port' as blank, unless stated otherwise.
e) The 'User' and 'Password' will likely be the same username & password as the one provided for your hosting account via e-mail.
Step #3 - Navigate your directory & Upload files
Now you can navigate through your website directory using FTP. To upload files, navigate to the folder that is called 'public_html'; this is your default website directory. From here, you can simply drag your website files into the folders.
Step #4 (Optional) - View your website online
You can browse your website here at Obble after uploading, but you must either:

b) Update your hosts file (To view your website locally, without others being able to see the site at Obble)
OR
c) Browse directly to the server IP in a web browser (sent via welcome email), followed by your username, in the following format. Just replace the IP with your server IP, and the username with your username sent via mail.
